On its website, the developer has placed a Universal Binary/Mac logo pair on The Fontz page. Obviously, The Fontz is NOT a UB product -- it was released a month or so before the first Intel machines were available. And nowhere on that Fontz page does it state that the software must run in Rosetta on Intel machines.
While I have been generally pleased with all other aspects of the product's performance, I am peeved by what appears to be at least a careless and misleading use of the UB logo. I would like to warn those who are considering purchasing this software to be aware of this significant discrepancy between what's being marketed and what you're actually buying.
That said, I hope the developers will update The Fontz to run native on Intel machines.
