This update made me restart to complete installing. When it did, my dock keeps crashing and little snitch appears to have lost all it's rules.

QT updates have required a restart as far back as I can remember. I've installed 7.4.1 with no problems, and Little Snitch is working fine for me. Maybe it's something else for you and not QT?

Didn't do anything special either. Performed a backup, ran the installer, checked permissions (none changed). All is well.
