Acrobat Pro 8.1.0 won't update to 8.1.2?

Feedback Type:  Troubleshooting Report

Contributed by: nnager Wednesday, February 06 2008 @ 12:00 AM PST

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 1-6 months

I'm running Adobe Acrobat Pro 8.1.0 with OS 10.5.1. When I run the patch, and navigate into the Acrobat Pro folder, the application is grayed out and I can't select it.

When that happened, I thought I'd try to update, instead, from within the application. Its Help said to click on the update button in the Help pulldown menu. But there is no update option under Acrobat Pro 8.1.0 Help.

What am I missing?

Respectfully, Norm

Have you tried updating to 8.1.1 first?

With a lot of Adobe updates they do not incorporate the previous updates.
