I've been using Transmission since the beginning, because I've always been searching for something that did the same (or well, that had a lot of options) Azureus did but without eating all my CPU. From the time Transmission started to properly handle files with weird characters in it and had the possibility of choosing which files to download and which not I was finally able to trash Azureus for once and for all.
I still haven't used the latest release very much, but I haven't had any crashes so far (I'm on a Tigerized 800 mhz iMac). It connects to peers fine and download speeds look great.
The only annoying thing I noticed is that sometimes, when I open the program, it starts to check the open torrents even if I had previously quit without problems... This can be fairly frustrating when you have for example an 8 GB torrent in it and the program spends over 10 minutes checking it... Especially if you'd quit without crashes and all.
Anyway, apart from that, everything fine.
Transmission
