Of late I've been using version 0.94. Versions 1.0, through 1.03 were unusable. My average download speeds hovered around 2.0 KB/s, and were often below 1.0, and that was when I was supposedly connected to 10+ peers. Suddenly, with version 1.04, all is well, and I do mean WELL! My first download immediately soared to over 150 KB/s and stayed there for 10 minutes or so. It's now dropped off, but is still in the 25 KB/s range, which is as good as I've been getting using 0.94. I just checked again and am in the 65 KB/s range. Thanks guys...good job!
I gave it an excellent rating for Features for this reason. While Transmission doesn't have many of the "features" of Azureus, it has what is needed to get the job done and, when all is said and done, isn't that what we're after.
I'm now downloading at 75 KB/s...yahooooo!

I used Transmission since the beginning, but try BitRocket and you will laugh at your speed's comments !! ;-)

Except that BitRocket hasn't been updated in 8 months (ie: since before Leopard was released) and seems to be falling into bit rot (pardon the pun). Even their forums appear to have been down for some time, suggesting the project has basically shut down.

By all means use it if it works for you, but I unless the project suddenly springs to life again, I suspect you'll need to switch away from it before too long.
