The older version was bad enough. This one is far worse. As un-Mac-like as the old interface was, this one is far worse. The older version allowed multiple backups. This one automatically will overwrite your old backup with a new one. Furthermore, the old backup routine took about 20 minutes, since it was backing up 900+ megs. This one takes about 5 seconds, so I doubt it really is doing a backup. I contacted TomTom by their hard to access web site tech support, and they gave me a gibberish answer.
Furthermore, other than the backing up, this version is far slower than the one I got a couple of months ago. One more thing. When you unZIP the download what shows up on your desktop is an installer that if you double click it you get no dialogue. It simply overwrites your older version, no questions asked.
