Used Product For: Over One Year

I just bought an iMac with Leopard (10.5) installed and my HP 4570c scanner does not work with the latest HP software, which is only good through Tiger (10.4). Is there a work-around? Help!

Leopard Not Compatible with HP 4570c Scanner - jcheng7

I have a brand new Macbook pro (purchased June 2008) and I downloaded the driver I found on this website and my scanner works fine. Sounds stupid but make sure all the cables are plugged in. I had a brief Twilight Zone experience where it was working then stopped working and I couldn't figure out why, called Mac tech support and HP and no one could help me, (because the driver is for Tiger and they said it shouldn't have worked at all) then I noticed the cables had come loose.
