Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Nice app, but I agree with the other users here that it should be running as more as a background process. And there is no reason for it to take up precious room in your dock while running.

Luckily there's a way to stop it showing up in the dock while running.

1) Quit the application.
2) go to /Applications/MenuCalendarClock iCal.app, ctrl-click and select "Show package contents"
3) Enter the Contents folder, and open "Info.plist" in your editor of choice.
4) Look for the key "NSUIElement" and change the following string value from 0 to 1. Save "Info.plist"
5) Restart the application, and it should no longer take up dock space while running.

Killing the dock icon - argelius

Thanks -- that's an excellent work-around!

(I will add to the list of remarks that this programs sure seems to have gotten bloated and buggy. It seems to take forever to load when first launched...)
