I had been searching for a better way to keep track of my small business customers with ease of use. I had recently had a computer melt down and had switched to Yahoo store for my business. I still like old fashioned mailings for sales anouncements and needed and easy to use and easy on the eye DB application. I had used SQL based DBs in the past and knew it was a stable environment for keeping records. The other DBs can get blips and singularities if they go over 500 records. So, SQL is good stability, especially as a one person biz, losing records and starting over is not an option. iList will be much easier to back up to iDisk for me!
I was happy when I found iList. Simplicity is the key when you are the only employee at your business! I had been at MacWorld and looking at Bento/Filemaker Pro and other DB apps and I don't need that many bells and whistles, and certainly not the bloated price on some of the other Mac based products.
Now, if I can just talk them into creating a plug in for Purchase Orders and Invoicing, which was the only other reason to consider other DBs. So, how about it? I like my Purchase ordering clean and simple;)
