I agree with the previous poster. Cosmetically it sucks. With the black background I feel I have to be very careful about where I click cause it is not easy to see. What I can not believe is that when compacting we are now looking a number to show progress, instead of the comforting progress bar.

I guess the designers think it looks swish, but when that swishness becomes an obstacle to the function one has to wonder...

I started using version 1.8 over a year ago and was thrilled by how clear and user friendly it was. I have been disappointed at every upgrade. Every time it is harder to see and takes more click of the mouse to get you where you want to go.
