Existing users, 
I have software that behaves badly with OS X versions from 10.4.9 and later, so I'm stuck for the moment on OS X 10.4.8. A wonderful subversion if you ask me. I assume iTunes 7.6 most likely won't work under this version as it says 10.4.9.
I'm mentioning this as a reminder if you're in a similar situation like mine and also like me used to upgrade iTunes without much thought. I've decided to stay on iTunes 7.4.1 for the moment, because I don't need the possible dread of 7.5, and the 7.4.1 version works nicely for me.
When I go to Leopard I'll be starting with iTunes 8 or something.
