RW is constantly crashing on quad intel with 10.5 so far not much help from support.
Installed RW on my wife's computer (who has moderate computer knowledge but no web development knowledge) as she wanted to produce a simple baby site for here friends but found out that RW is certainly nothing for newbies and after two hours of trying and complaining how difficult and un-intuitive everything is I gave here iWeb which she loves and finished here site within another 2 hours.

You Misunderstand RW's Market - frodo5641
I stated my experience and I assume you are employed by RealMac software refuting all non positive comments made by different members.I just stated that it's not a Software which you can give to novice user who would quickly like to design a web page. UI could be fare more intuitive even myself (after using RW on and of for a while now) have to often go searching again for settings as they are all over the place.
It's not a bad software but could be improved quite a bit.
For something in-between iWeb and dreamWeaver and for people with reasonable computer knowledge I would rather recommend Freeway

If you're promoting Freeway then I have to assume you're employed by SoftPress :) Sounds ridiculous doesn't it? Try repairing permissions and restarting. I've been using the betas for some time crash-free.Thursday, May 29 2008 @ 05:19 PM PDT
You Misunderstand RW's Market - Jeff Mincey
If RapidWeaver is constantly crashing, please give strong consideration to the possibility your wife's computer is in need of serious maintenance. Also, RapidWeaver does not really compete with Apple's iWeb. Instead it fills a niche between the low-end, novice-friendly iWeb and the high-end professional DreamWeaver.
RapidWeaver is easy to use but it's a powerful tool that one cannot expect to master within just two hours. It also provides robust online help, good documentation, and a user support forum which is very helpful to new and veteran users alike.
To criticize a product because you are unable to get instant results from it is not really fair -- not unless you understand its intended market.
