There is simply no excuse for the ridiculously poor quality of Logitech's software. Their hardware is magnificent. I'm in love with the MX Revolution Mouse. But the software is criminal...it's the most intrusive, non-functional software I've ever installed on my computer. This latest version repeats an age-old error where it doesn't even RECOGNIZE my keyboard or mouse! Yet it freaks my mouse out and puts it at super-high speed where I can't even control it.

What's terrible about this is that this has gone on for years and years and years. This cruddy software is ridiculous. What's the deal? Is the software engineer sleeping with the owner or something? This person needs to be fired...I'd be embarrassed to say I wrote this junk.

Can you tell I'm fed up? This has gone on for years.

Inexcusable - baddawg65

The Logitech software is truly bad. I never seen so many problems with software from a hardware manufacture and they are not will to fix. However this is not limited to Macs but Windows also.
I have contacted Logitech customer service but I get the run around about un-installing and then re-installing the drivers but my most recent incident with my Logitech mouse actually locked up my MacBookPro keyboard and trackpad. I couldn't get any response from the Logitech MX500 mouse, the built-in keyboard and trackpad on MacBookPro. I finally try an external keyboard and mouse on the other USB port before my MacBookPro would respond. After I quit all the open applications I shutdown the system and then cleared PRAM and then I could use the built-in keyboard and trackpad.
