im a 3d modeler i would like for the developer to consider previews to be available for various 3d formats(max/lws/c4d/obj/dxf/...etc). it would be simple to do since most 3d applications can save a preview picture along with the file...

Mh, if these mentioned products save "normal" graphics alongside their 3D data, then CDFinder can already do that, as CDFinder reads a huge amount of "normal" graphic file formats, such as EPS or PDF, JPG, or TIFF.

I really really suggest that you should contact us with some sample files, as we really don't have all 3D software packages available to us...
