I agree with the rest There has to be something a little more then just a redesign of the looks and such. Like better video signal. My cable company's signal looks greats on my tv but input it into eyetv its not as good. Do away with the 2 GB file size limit or better integration into idvd.

There is no 2GB file size limit. I have many recordings that are over 15GB.

If you have a tuner that does software encoding (like the EyeTV Hybrid) the quality will depend on the settings you use and the speed of your Mac. On slower Macs, the quality is reduced to enable the encoder to keep up.
