I've been waiting for a fix to VT 4.5 since November. I haven't been able to use it since upgrading to Leopard. I have three Macs with Leopard on them and all three don't work. I have a Powerbook, a Quicksilver, and an Intel Mac Mini AND ALL THREE CAN'T RUN VERSIONTRACKER PRO 4.5! All the computers take forever to launch the app now and it spends eternity (I let it run for 24 hours) scanning the disks. The app never stops and never updates.
It wouldn't bother me so much if this was a normal application that you purchase it, use it, and if it doesn't run, I either don't use it or I buy the newer version. But, because it's subscription-based, every day it doesn't work, is a day my money is wasted. I WILL NOT renew this subscription if they don't backdate my current subscription and quickly fix the VT Pro software. What kills me is that my subscription recently renewed, so I haven't had a working product since paying for it. It would be the equivalent of purchasing something that doesn't work, and hope that an updated version will fix it so you can use it, but if it doesn't come within a year, you've paid for a broken product. If it doesn't work, why pay for it when I can use the FREE website and individually check for updates (like I'm doing now).
For anyone thinking about subscribing, take note of what I just wrote before paying the subscription fee. I'll post something else if the VersionTracker team makes this good.

Version: 4.5.1
try 4.5.1b on OS X 10.5.1 - chongolcn2
The public beta 4.5.1b running on OS X 10.5.1 on an Intel MacBook Pro appears to not suffer from similar problems that I was having with version 4.5. I recommend that you update to "VersionTracker Pro Mac 4.5.1b" and try again.See the post "Public Beta - VersionTracker Pro Mac 4.5.1 - Version: 4.5, 1/11/2008 05:16PM PST" for information on VersionTracker Pro Mac 4.5.1b.
