Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Using a MBP and a Canopus digitizer, I set myVCR to record from 1:46 pm to 1:48 pm. It translated that as "3275 minutes", and after I cancelled the recording, the resultant movie was not recognized as a movie by QT. I'm a bit underwhelmed.

I think it may be a QT thing. MyVCR has worked well for me for a long time now but recently after a couple of QT updates it does pretty much what you said.
Vision & Audio come up in the monitor window, and a file is recorded which Get Info says is a .mov file but when I try to play it I get the not a movie file error.
Tried in VLC and Streamclip as well, Streamclip opens the audio, VLC says no Video or Audio data found. File size is about what you'd expect.
Tried Bearshand and problem was the same.
Then captured direct from QT Pro and no problems at all. Of course QT has no timer functions, very, very annoying, anybody got a solution?
