When I am really pissed at my computer,
you know, when apps have been hanging, and the whole thing seems sluggish
and the spinning pinwheel of death makes its appearance... and won't go away- -
that's when I run HighLoad for like 5 or 10 minutes.
Then I pause it, and tell my computer that if it doesn't start behaving properly,
and running smoothly, against my will, I will be forced to run HighLoad for an entire day!
(or until the machine gives out and dies.)
Then I abruptly shut the computer off, to give it some time to reflect.

I've only had to do this twice so far,
and that was enough of an "incentive" to convince my machine
to keep things in tip top running condition.

Computers aren't dumb. They know what's in their best interest.
But in the absence of a significant threat, like HighLoad,
they tend to get a little testy, rebellious, a bit lazy, like most of us.
That's all.

Thank you HighLoad for improving my relationship with my computer.
