Are they seriously launching a new version at the end of 2007 which is not Leopard-compatible? I can only imagine that they have been hamstrung by Adobe's abysmal failure to get Acrobat Professional up to speed.

Have they heard of Leopard? - disbellj
Well, today is August 8, 2008, and Quark email just sent me to http://www.thepowerxchange.com/product_6805_detailed.htmlwhere I read system requirements that do not include Leopard. At least versiontracker keeps up-to-date better than the reseller. LOL
And when will Quark get up-to-date and allow PDF 1.4 or higher export? They're killing themselves.

As far as I know Acrobat 8 is not yet OS 10.5 compatible. The system requirements state: up to OS 10.4.3.So let's be honest, isn't it normal PitStop Professional 7.5 is not yet OS 10.5 compatible? A plug-in has to following its host!
Adobe has put the following statement on their website:
Adobe expects to publish free Leopard compatibility updates for the video applications in December 2007 and for Acrobat 8 Professional and Adobe Reader 8 in January 2008.
I know a bit about software testing. Once this update has been released, the plug-in developer (in this case Enfocus) will be able to start an R&D cycle for compatibility.
So, it's getting close.
Cheers.
