Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

technicaly for me miro actualy does what it is expected to do. BUT:
after startup one of the first things this app does is establishing a connection to google-analytics. (try yourself using little snitch.)
why?
it shouldn't do that.

be aware that this app potentialy contains spyware or at least is trying to gather information on you.

miro is trying to connect to google-analytics - suitsme

Firefox does this on launch, too. I guess a lot of open source software has made deals to let google track all your IP number's searches. If I disallow the connection between Firefox and google then Firefox will not go to any url. Have not tried this with Miro. Also, I have often wondered what's to prevent LittleSnitch itself from gathering info or passwords.

First, don't be evil. I'm not so sure.
