I installed iConiCal but find I rarely log in or restart, and my computer is always asleep at midnight. Why doesn't this program simply update the icon when I open iCal, which I do every single day at some point? Or better yet, have the program update on wake up. That would actually make it useful instead of merely a curiosity.

Set iCal's icon to the current date in a choice of colors.

Unfortunately Apple does not include a mechanism for scheduling items to run at wake from sleep. It is suggested that iConiCal is set to launch at a time when you would normally expect your mac to be turned on in the morning. One solution would be to set up an iCal schedule to run iConiCal at set times.Reply to This
