iSquint is one of the best freeware programs ever created for the Mac

It not only converts a wide array of videos to mp4, it also somehow manages
to fix most of the corrupted avi or mpegs I come across.

While it's primarily designed to convert vidz for ipods,
I mainly use iSquint to convert vidz to mp4 with H.264.
If the highest quality setting is used, it upgrades
the quality significantly.

Two suggestions to the developer:

I hate not being able to save my settings when quitting the program,
and having to change them every time I open it. Maybe you could
tweak it to save whatever settings were last used upon closing,
rather than defaulting to the ipod settings.

Also, why not include a donation link? I tried Visualhub but found it
didn't really offer anything I needed that wasn't already in iSquint.
I think a lot of satisfied users might contribute a few bucks voluntarily
as a "thank you."
