On relaunching, the 1.3.1 version will open D300 .NEF files, at least under Tiger 10.4.11. (PhotoShop and LightRoom will also open the D300 .NEF files. iPhoto will not, and therefore Aperture shouldn't either. Come on, Apple. Let's get it together.) I haven't tried it under 10.5 as I banished Leoptard until Apple fixes those useless stacks and other creepy behavior...
