Well I tried the 3.41 version (labeled as 3.31 in the about menu) that was supposed to fix type/creator code being reversed on Intel Macs - it didn't. I deleted the backup and backed up from scratch. Just like before, my Quark documents aren't recognized. PowerPC backups continue to work fine. Any chance of a fix for the fix?

3.41 does't break Intel backups - jimmy-d
Thanks but actually I haven't touched Leopard. The developer has been unable to reproduce the bug, but it is occurring on multiple Intel Macs - it is indeed a bug and I'm sadly looking elsewhere for a trustworthy backup solution. I've had additional experiences where data isn't being backed up that is supposed to be on PowerPC Macs.Friday, February 01 2008 @ 12:00 AM PST

You probably installed DejaVu 3.3.1 under Tiger and then upgraded to Leopard! Therefore it is still Version 3.31.Install DejaVu again under Leopard and the installer will correctly install 3.4.1 which will work with Leopard.
I don“t think there was any fault by DejaVu ...
