I replaced my iBook with a MacBook, so I needed to update my node-locked version of Vine Viewer with a new host ID. I tried to use the automated update function on their support web site, but I couldn't because the email address (which they use as customer logon ID) on their database was no longer valid.
I emailed them & described my dilemma, providing the necessary info. This was on a Sunday afternoon, 2 days before Christmas. Within an hour, Todd from customer support responded with a new license key and updated my user ID.
On a Sunday. 2 days before Christmas. Not bad.
Love the product, too. Took advantage of the free upgrade offer, so I'm now running version 3.0 of the viewer & server.
