Keeps crashing when searching

Feedback Type:  Review

Contributed by: McOldie Monday, December 24 2007 @ 02:31 AM PST

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 1-6 months

Recommend Product: NO

When searching on larger catalogs (eg DVDs), it keeps crashing.
This problem was in previous versions too.
Recatalogging doesn't solve it.
So quite unstable for its main function: catalogging and searching.
Same problem in the windows version cdwinder.

Keeps crashing when searching - Norbert M. Doerner 2

Did you contact technical support for this problem? ;-) No, unfortunately not ;-)

If you do, please add the CDFinder crashlog file to it.

The Find crash is very likely a crash due to a problematic catalog created by CDWinder on Windows (versions prior to CDWinder 2.5 could create damaged MP3 record), but the crashlog will explicitly tell us what is going on.

The Cataloging crash is likely a damaged photo file, please check this here to find the offending file: http://www.cdfinder.de/support.html#5
