Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: YES

Every time Apple comes out with an OS update, or one of these security updates I see many posts by people with issues. I currently maintain 4 Macs at work and two at home and have never had an issue with any of them. This update included. Perhaps if those with issues learned to keep their systems clean, by repairing permissions and running fsck -fy in single user mode once in a while, they too would enjoy running OSX without problems.

I do and ALWAYS did the same.

This is the first major problem that can not be fixed. I have lots of macs too, blah blah blah. Just count yourself one of the lucky ones.

Its simply because the vast majority of people who update with no problems have no need to publicise it - however there are always thoose who will have an issue with it breaking something and they tend to make the most noise....
