Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

This version is far from new. It is 7 months old. It needs the tricks described below to download, does not add any usable features over 1.5 and most important it is unable to download and install the maps I bought.

I recommend against using a TomTom device unless you run Win XP or above. I had no success to access purchased maps on Win ME and Win2k either.

I would like a GPS device. Now I know which one not to buy. Are any Mac friendly?

Garmin claims to be Mac friendly. That's the maker I'll be checking out next. My TomTom Go 510 is looking for a new home.
