Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Only tried this because the upgrade was so much. Uninstalled it and just used built in smb. Everything works even with complex networks that would not work under 10.4.

Thanks for making the upgrade so expensive that I decided to try it without Dave.

With 10.5 you dont need dave anymore - Mac-Fan No 1

You forget resource forks (yes, they're still out there)! The implementation of Samba in Leopard splits resource forks in two files (Apple double) while other clients still save the resource fork together with the data fork (Apple single). If you need to find a common ground, you need DAVE!
