Used Product For: Have Not Tried

Recommend Product: NO

MacTheRipper is the gold standard for DVD ripping on OS X, though it would be an asset to have alternatives. Based on feedback here (thanks!) Shrinky-DVD-ink (a name that seems strangely derived from the Winky Dink and You TV show) currently isn't one of them.

Winky Dink - Meister Fritz

If you recall Winky Dink, then you're as old as I am!

Winky Dink and more . . . - ptklenk

Was it in Winky Dink where we could put the plastic screen over the TV and draw solutions with a crayon-like implement? I know it was one show around that time frame. I'd guess that Winky Dink was a Saturday morning event. I religiously watched: Industry on Parade, Three Stooges and Little Rascals. Believe the Stooges were 7 AM to 9 AM EST. What's your recollection on this? You didn't have some traumatic event occur while viewing Winky, did you? Sounds like post-traumatic stress syndrome! LOL

Shrinky-DVD-ink vs. MTR - CoffeeCat665

Actually, the name comes from ShrinkyDinks. It was a toy(?) in the 70's. You cut out and colored an image on a sheet of plastic. Your mom put it in the oven for x number of minutes. It shrinks to 1/3 it's original size. Ta-da.
