After installing, get only a black screen. Tried unplugging everything, retuning, etc. No video - black screen only with audio. Using Leopard 10.5.1. Others on their support forum pages seem to point to an incompatibilty with Sonnett G4 upgraded processors (1.8 GHz dual processor installed on an 450 MHz AGP grahics G4.) ATI 9700 Graphics card.

Terrible Software - Black Screen only - NickCollingridge
Your Mac only has USB 1.1 ports. These are obviously vastly too slow (at only 12Mbit/s) to be able to support the amount of data required to display video. Your score is entirely unfair to EyeTV and I would suggest that in future you should look into the background to any problems you might experience before unthinkingly giving such a negative score to a product.Friday, December 28 2007 @ 12:55 AM PST

You rated it 1 star because of an incompatibility with a very low volume upgrade to a Mac that didn't originally meet the requirements? You problem is probably because of the frontside bus on your machine. That is why there is a minimum hardware requirement. That is not the fault of Elgato.Reply to This
