Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 1-6 months

Recommend Product: YES

I was using 6.2.2 for a while now, so I do not see how this is new? Also no release notes? Still jumps around with different speeds at random app changes. Not very good. Please let us know what is going on Microsoft. I would like to actually USE as intended my Microsoft Laser Mouse with Leopard, thank you.

I Agreed - MAC_1984

I am a fan of Microsoft mice, but have the same issues that you have with this software. The unpredictable cursor lag, and at times erratic behavior prompted me to spring for SteerMouse although I try every new version of this software. As others have noted SteerMouse will not indicate the remaining battery life of those Microsoft mice that rely on MS' own software to tell you. Thankfully, it looks like many newer MS mice are starting to come with an indicator on the mouse itself. To get around current limitations when using SteerMouse I simply purchased an inexpensive battery tester at RadioShack.

Erratic mouse speed -

Yep, Get exactly the same problem that when you switch to a new app the mouse speed can suddenly start moving a hell of a let faster. Switch to a different app and it's fine.... crappo :( I too like their mice but software sucks.
