I thought I'd chip in my first experience.

I got it to verify the disk, repair permissions, perform maintenance tasks and clear the system cache's.

I think I left it set to the defaults when I ran it. It asked to reboot.

After the reboot I could not log into any of my accounts, until I rebooted again, at which point I could log in.

Not noticed anything else at the moment.
