Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

I don't understand this author nor why he is so determined to destroy his own product. He keeps mucking it up time after time. You can't slide any file across your screen and over the Transmission application without bringing your system to a total halt. WHAT THE F is that??? Get over this stupid business of dragging a file to the main window to make a torrent. IT DOES NOT WORK! Add a simply "Create a Torrent" in the drop down menu.

And what is with the destruction of the download speeds? v70+ through v80 used to scream at downloading. After that the author has just mucked Transmission up with all his stupid addons and pretty crap that Transmission just halts and stalls. Geez, I get better transfer using Acquisition and that thing is a DOG!

I can't stand it. I've got a version 80 and I'm staying there. Someday this author will "get it" and cease this ungodly desire to muck up his own program. All this guy is doing is using his customers as guinea pigs and beta testers. You use his updates and you take your downloading/uploading life in his hands and he'd drop you in a minute!

Nope, the poster's right. .95 doesn't work very well on all machines. I downgraded to .94 this morning and all the torrents which didn't work worked again and picked up speed.
