Not so great

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: NO

I really liked the way Little Snitch used to be in the preference pane, it IS after all an important system-wide service. So, that is why v.2 looks worse. Also, it seems that the rule editor turned out for worse, too. Not only does it sometimes refuse to switch from IP field into the port one but also lacks the old and GRRRRRRRRRREAT way of allowing for a quick pick net ranges. I REALLY miss that one!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, the v.2 turns out to be an "upgrade" to a lesser, "easier to use" experience, just as Microsoft would have done it. 8^/

It is actually a big improvement - kayel

It have never had it crash or behave strangely. I find it easier to use the way it is now, versus the old pref pane way. Entering rules is a no-brainer. I have no idea how anyone would find it harder to use than the old version.
