It's tough to give a bad review for free software but not only did it fail to do what it was designed for (rendering it completely and totally useless), it then decided to seize EVERYTHING up rock solid and forced me to power off my iBook with Cmd+ctrl+power.
Couldn't get Transmission to shift up from bottom gear either. Got single digit d/l speeds ranging from 2.8kb to... whoa... a blistering 8.7kb!! Have to admit the interface is the nicest of 'em all -- but everything behind the dashboard is total s*** (and ain't that nearly always the case?).
Now if this guy could only talk the Azureus folks (the app burns rubber but LOOKS like s***) into buying his GUI we'd all be winners.
Transmission

"Slow speed you are getting is not the program's fault."You sound quite confident about that. What do you know that I (and the overwhelming majority of other posters) don't? Care to share your infinite wisdom by giving us some specific facts about where we're going wrong?
"Try getting a cable or DSL."
Already got one.
"If you have a broadband then it's your system".
Since almost everyone else appears to be experiencing single digit d/l speeds with Transmission, then we must all have defective OS's (strange that Azureus flies along on the same defective system, however...). Once again, I invite you to share your expertise with us, oh wise one.
"I get up to my full download speed that my ISP provides".
Then based on the experience of most other posters, can we presume that your max download speed is in the order of 10Kb/s? I suggest you shop around for another ISP.
"No wonder you call yourself Ojisan".
And your point here is...?
"Means "grandfather" in Japanese for those who are interested".
Hmm, close -- but not quite correct. Ojisan = uncle or gentleman, while Ojiisan (note the long vowel) = grandfather or old gentleman. And while I'm sure no-one IS interested in your rather poor translation skills, what on earth my screen name has to do with my views on this piece of crapware once again escapes me. I'm sure you'll find it hard, but please try and stay focused in any future postings.

LOL...Just wait 'til his hard-drive fills up with "mysterious" corrupted files...
It was working fine for me speed-wise I must admit...
But the files were literally 10x oversize and corrupt upon completion...
Would play for awhile then crash...
Took me awhile to figure it out...
This version is TERRIBLE...
On "FIVE" different G4s & 5s...
All the best...B
