off and on for several years with decidedly mixed results. However, when v 1.8 was posted, I thought I'd give it another try on Leopard, and I have to say that I was astonished at the results. Either I'm just having a very lucky day or Macspeech has really got its act together. I'd be interested in seeing others' reactions.

on the Versiontracker page that got you here. The link for the updater is under Step 3 (there's a different link for updating from v 1.7 than from 1.6.x; the latter, I think, requires an upgrade fee, but upgrading from 1.7.x is free).Friday, November 30 2007 @ 06:15 PM PST

I had been using the program for about two years with very mixed results. I just downloaded version 1.8, and so far I am very impressed with the improvement in accuracy. If the improvement in accuracy I've seen with the first five minutes of use continues with longer periods, I am very impressed.
The download process was very simple and seems to have worked flawlessly.

I've been looking for reviews of 1.8. I've found very few. I've used DragonNaturallySpeaking for years and love it. Can anyone comment on how this version stands up to version 8? They state 99% accuracy. iListen ???%.In short, I'd like to buy it, but I want a comparable product.
