i tried this app and it completely wipe the movies off my hard drive they are no where to be found when i added the file extension everything seemed to be working fine but when i moved the files into the virtual dvd folder in movies they disappeared and are seemingly gone tried to find them in spotlight i looked everywhere. help?

That is not where the Movies should be moved. As stated on the Developer page: Just double click them and they will be moved to your Library. The Movies folder simply contains links to the originals and is constantly wiped/updated to reflect your Library.Reply to This
