when I went to click on the dev link, ( as to go to the dev homepage) I was asked if I wanted to save a file.. to my desktop. anyone else getting this when trying to go thru VT to get to the dev homepage? I saved the file it was shown on leopard as a QT movie with an .ex ending.

I had no problem going to the developer's site just now. It is a .mac account.
