I do use Pages 06 where I used to use Word, because it's simpler. Pages is annoying too, though, and I'm not going to upgrade until they produce decent support for label design and print.

As for their templates - they're pretty useless for small business. An annoying omission is comp slips (do they have them in US?)

And why won't it start up with your own template selection?

Could do better.

No I don't think they have comps slips in the USA or they use "Shipping Labels" as a substitute.

However it shouldn't be hard to make your own, mostly they are just an A4 letterhead 1/3rd the height (99mm) with the address information slid up or down and the words "With Compliments" somewhere offset to allow room for a hand written note.
