This product does what i need, and there seems to be no alternative on the market. It works just fine w. my pentium iMac, OS 10.4.11. I give this product 5 stars in partr to offset a 1 star rating which seems to me unfair to the developer, (their customer support was great w. me), and unfair to Mac users who want to convert .pdf into Office docs.

There is an alternative - gbdoc
I don't know this app and have never used it, but it's not true that there's no alternative. There is at least one, which I use often, and it's free. Just highlight the content you want in a PDF, and copy and paste it into Word, Pages, and other apps. It may not retain formatting exactly, and you might have to tinker with line endings, but it has usually done the job I needed well enough.Reply to This
