Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 1-6 months

Recommend Product: YES

bought this a while ago and never used it as interface was to clunky and to much effort to put in to use it efficiently. However version 2.1 now is actually very good and i started finally using it.

What is missing is a preview of files but otherwise excellent software

getting better - frodo5641

It actually has a preview via quick look but I would prefer another column or row (similar to path finder) which allows a quick preview.

Preview - Houdah Software

The preview lives in an inspector window. You may freely place this window on the screen. It updates as the selection changes.

Place the preview view next to the main window and you get all the benefits of a preview view anchored to the main window with the added flexibility of being able to move and resize the preview view.

where to search - Houdah Software

Such a preference already exists.

It's called a "Preferred Template". Set-up a search document to your liking (criteria, locations, columns, sort order, ...) and set it as preferred template. From that moment onward, all new search documents will derive from that template.
