I could not avoid to get updated to Safari 3.0.4 when I updated from OS X 10.4.10 to 10.4.11. Safari is now totally unusable; crashes always when I try to open it. Good that there is Firefox! I tried to go back to 2.0.3 but that version is also not working anymore. What a piece of crap!

Are you using any third-party plugins? If so, remove them. I've had no problems with the latest version of Safari.

i too have 10.4 but the new safari update loaded fine

i find it works; but it's different

i like the "find" feature better

but the autofill is worse. now you have to choose using up and down arrows betw what used to just fill in automaticaly, if, for instance, it was the last thing you started to type that started the same way

an extra (annoying) step

i also don't like the underline of "misspelled" words that i can't make go away through any of the preferences provided (any help?)

other opinions on this update (apart from whether it works or not; my sypmathies to those of you for whom it's not workin at all - - but all computer probs eventually get solved; just annoying as hell til they do)?

thanks
