Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 6-12 months

Recommend Product: YES

I first started to use this program as a demo, because I was looking for something what would improve the use of Safari. I specially appreciate the remembering of open windows/tabs feature and all the ad-blocking. So what the lazy guys at Apple could not implement - Hao Li did with a great success. Additionally he always answers my e-mails and is very supportive and friendly.
Usually I avoid shareware or commercial software but this is different - money well spent!
Keep up the good work!

A great piece of software! NOT ANYMORE - songliner

Most interesting - Saft gets beaten, all of sudden someone with no track record at VT comes to the rescue and gives praise to exactly the points that led to the criticism. Well...

A great piece of software! NOT ANYMORE - HerrFunken

Well I've been on VT for ages and I also have saft for Safari which has enabled me to do away with that awful Firefox nonsense almost once and for all. I've got no problems with saft at all, or its developer for that matter. In fact I can fully recommend saft for Safari- it does a grand job for this otherwise fairly mediocre browser. So there!

A great piece of software! NOT ANYMORE - BK0001

It is bizarre that dasza77 has created a new account on versiontracker and macupdate to try to reverse the tide of critical posts. If it is someone associated with the developer, it would be better to deal with this in a more straightforward way.

Having been a long-time Saft user, my experience is that his history is pretty johnny-on-the-spot in providing updates very quickly after Safari gets updated. And while this upgrade policy, some kinks in the initial Leopard versions, and the reported email exchanges are some cause for concern, I am surprised by how intent a few here are to try to take the guy down.

For $6, personally I'm not sure it's worth losing sleep over, or worrying about following this thread any longer. I think I'll take the plunge...
