The Google integration is sorta nice, actually the main reason I like it. However it would thrash my drives any time I was coming back from a reboot. I also found it rather slow at local searches compared to Spotlight. On my Windows machines it's an automatic install but on my Macs it probably needs to get to 2.0 first. Not that Leopard's version of spotlight is that great, it's actually a step back IMHO. Even so I suggest that people try it but I wont be making it a 'must install' till we've gotten a full rev number.Wednesday, November 21 2007 @ 09:48 AM PST

There is nothing wrong with Spotlight. But it's always nice to have an alternative, especially if it's free.Reply to This
