I haven't had an issue with Toast in years, but this latest version is killing me.
I keep getting verification errors.

I'm seeing a common thread when people say" "we'll have to put up with Toast until there's a competing product" I couldn't agree more and will jump ship as soon as that product is released by someone, and it's only a matter of time. I have a G4, G5, and a mac pro. between the 3 there are 5 different optical drives, 5 different models and 3 different brands. NONE of them can burn the full speed and ALL of them seem to waste almost HALF of the dvd+DL's i burn with Toast. about a a QUARTER of the DVD-'s o burn fail verification or hang the entire system during the burn. Waste of time and money. It's actually hard to follow an archiving routine with Toast because of the loss of time! If you're buying in to Toast expect a long and painfully frustrating experience. I won't be updating to 8.0.3 because i know what problems i have with 8.01 and what to expect to work and not work.come on competitor, where are you with that new product?!!

Is this just happening under Leopard or are you having problems under Tiger, too? I haven't yet upgraded to Leopard and want to know whether 8.0.3 will work OK under 10.4.10 (or 10.4.11).Reply to This
