there's no option to install only for current user. i refuse to install apps as admin because of security concerns.

You moron. Yes, that's the standard procedure for installing core system aps like this. The whole idea is that only the owner or the admin of the machine should be allow to install stuff. It has everything to do with security--maintaining your own security. It has nothing to do with violating security, if its your computer.
