I have not had one single problem with Leopard. I'd be willing to bet all that are, upgraded from 10.4 rather than do an archive and install or better yet a clean install as I did.

The problems we are talking about are verified bugs in the initial release of Leopard. And they even didn't fix some of the serious bugs in the x.5.1 upgrade. I don't know how the beta-testers could slip those errors through... errors that took most of the retail users 5 minutes to discover.(example: the smb filesharing, you have to connect with the ip to see the files...)

You lose. I did an erase and install. 10.5.0 only gave me one small problem with iWeb. However, when I upgraded to 10.5.1 I spent a bunch of time trying to keep my cable modem running. After I got that fixed, my broadband connection started running like dial up. After playing with DNS numbers for a couple of days, I gave up and reinstalled Tiger this weekend.Monday, November 26 2007 @ 04:33 PM PST

If upgrade is an option, and it is problematic, then there are problems with 10.5, ipso facto.Reply to This
