How is it possible that the betatest-people didn't report the errors before the initial release!
I think Apple have to change the betacrew...
And what about repairing permissions. Why does it take so long? They could have fixed more than just the progress bar.

BTW I love Leopard and I think it's going to be a killer OS, but it was released to early...

Permission repairs are significantly longer under Leopard.... not sure if there is an issue with the utility or if Leopard is doing deeper, more extensive permissions checks. They have definitely updated Disk Utility's Repair Disk feature... it repairs many more errors than the Tiger release did.
