Could anyone please enlighten me as to any sort of situation this would benefit? At first glance this sounds like it undermines part of Spaces main purpose. I bank on Spaces switching to the space that presents the Application whose window I want to focus. If I switch to a different window in the same application, a window that I've placed on a different Space, I expect Spaces to switch over there. Either I really missed the boat on this one or the developer did. My apologies if it's me.

Situation? - Zach Dykstra
It took me a while to summarize why I like this program, but I think I can explain one of many uses for it. When you click on an icon in the dock for a program, say Terminal.app, Spaces makes the assumption that whatever window is first in your window stack should be brought into focus. So no matter where you are, it ALWAYS assumes that an item in the window list should be brought into focus, even if this involves warping you to a new desktop. What Spaces.. Spaces.. Spaces.. lets you do is give a specific application focus with out warping you to the desktop the next window is on. This way, I can be on a desktop with no Terminal windows, click the Terminal Icon, apple-N and get a new Terminal windows right there. Under the previous Spaces behavior, you would warp to another Desktop and then create a window there. Hardly the expected behavior in my mind. Some people prefer the standard Spaces behavior, some people don't. Unfortunately Apple rarely provides the ability to customize things of that nature. (See Finder vs Path Finder). I dug down into the hidden comments and found the reasons behind the "why" for some users. I guess if that's what works for you then cheers. IMHO that adds an extra step to utilizing Spaces, yet at the same time, I "get" what the purpose of Spaces.. Spaces.. Spaces.. is.Any reason in particular that actual ellipses weren't used in the name, in other words is there significance behind the two periods? i.e. Spaces… Spaces… Spaces… Just curious.
